A
warm welcome awaits you at Garfield House. This
friendly family home offers warm hospitality and quality accommodation - light, bright,
comfortable rooms finished to a high standard, with many little
extras to make your stay special. There are 4 letting bedrooms - 2 with en suite facilities and 2 with shared facilities.
Built around 1880 during the latter part of Queen Victoria's reign, Garfield House has a unique facade and consequently has been given "Listed Building" status by Historic Scotland.

Although
there have been alterations and extensions over the years, many
original Victorian features have been retained - elaborate ceiling
roses and cornices in the public rooms and original tiles in the
porch and entrance hall.
The
house is tastefully decorated throughout with original paintings
on the walls - these are for sale or you can even commission something
special to you to remind you of your Scottish holiday.
Advice
and help is always on hand with ideas on how to make your stay memorable
- where to eat out, places to visit and routes to take for day trips.
Perthshire is the "Heart of Scotland" and this makes Blairgowrie
the perfect touring base for your holiday.
Perthshire
has it all - galleries, theatres, museums, distilleries, castles
(even a palace), lochs, mountains, glens, some lovely gardens
which are open to the public and some remarkable trees and woodlands (hence the name "Big Tree Country").
There
are a wealth of attractions in Perthshire - so why not come and
spend a few days here and experience this superb cultural and natural heritage for yourself.
